Welcome to the Evolution of Medicine podcast! In this episode, James sits down with Dallas Hartwig, who you’ll recognize as the co-founder of the Whole30 program and co-author of two bestselling books, It Starts with Food and The Whole30. He joins us on the podcast for the first time to talk about his upcoming book, The 4 Season Solution, and explore the fascinating role of seasons, starting inside the cell and emerging all the way through to the seasons of our lives. Welcome to the Evolution of Medicine podcast! In this episode, James talks with Michelle Peris, ND, creator and facilitator of Rebel Tribe, a community group of women seeking support and health education. She has successfully made group visits sexy—helping women of all walks of life and health statuses build their own tribes and improve their health and wellbeing. A common concern we hear from practitioners starting out with group visits is that their patients won’t be interested in participating. Functional medicine groups are inspirational in that way—they channel community into a force that is powerful enough to motivate lasting behavior change. It was an excellent 30-minute conversation with Michelle, and she shared great insight that will be valuable to anyone looking for strategies to successfully market group visits and recruit patients.
